Cobalt Integration is seeking a CAD Designer to assist Project Managers with project layout tasks such as layout design, specification review, and drawing management.
Job Responsibilities
The CAD Designer will be responsible to work with the Project Managers to create and design project layout documents. Cobalt strives for factory layouts that promote safety, operator and forklift access, and ease of maintenance access while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing look. The CAD Designer will be responsible to work with the Project Managers to assist in the development of bid packages, construction, and as-built packages. The CAD Designer will be responsible to travel to customer sites to verify field conditions. Travel is approximately 10-15%. The CAD Designer will be responsible to work with OEMs to obtain equipment footprints and to provide OEM operator and layout feasibility. The CAD Designer is expected to interact well with Clients, OEM representatives, and Cobalt staff to positively complete project initiatives and drive conceptual ideas. CAD Designer should look for areas of improvement and point out flaws in OEM drawings and layouts.
